Product compliance checks assigns products to the correct Swiss food category and checks food supplements, sports foods and dietary foods for compliance with the VNem and VLBE ordinances. Including limit values, ingredients, novel food notes, and labelling and presentation in the online shop.
Checking marketability and labelling requires up-to-date knowledge of legislative changes, correct classification, legal names, claims and declarations. In practice, this takes a lot of effort.
