We inform you about which personal data we process when you visit our website, contact us or use services such as our newsletter or appointment booking.
Personal data is information relating to an identified or identifiable person (e.g. name, email address, IP address).
Processing means any handling of personal data (e.g. collecting, storing, using, deleting).
Depending on how you use our website, the following data in particular may be processed:
Technical data (e.g. IP address, date/time, pages accessed, referrer URL, browser information, operating system, device information)

Retention period: Log data is generally only kept for as long as necessary for security, operation and error analysis, and is then deleted or anonymised, unless longer retention is required for security reasons.

Retention period: as long as required for communication and any subsequent cooperation, or as long as statutory retention obligations apply.
If you book or request a meeting via our website (e.g. via a form or a booking tool), we process the data required to coordinate the appointment and prepare the meeting.
What data: contact details, appointment information, details of your request/project where applicable.
Purpose: organising the appointment, preparing and holding the meeting, follow-up.
If third-party tools are used for this, data may be transmitted to the respective provider. In this case, we ensure that appropriate contractual and organisational measures are in place (e.g. data processing agreements).
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your details (in particular your email address) to send you regular information about core.iq, our automations, updates and content.
Subscription: usually via double opt-in (confirmation by email) to prevent misuse
Unsubscribing: possible at any time, e.g. via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by sending us a message
Retention period: until you unsubscribe; the data is then deleted or blocked, unless retention obligations apply
If we use a mailing service provider for the newsletter, processing takes place on our behalf under a data processing agreement.
We may use web analytics tools to measure and improve the use of our website (e.g. which pages are visited most often). Cookies or similar technologies may be used for this.
Purpose: improving the website, usability, audience measurement.
Note: Where analytics tools are used, we make sure, as far as possible, to use data-minimising configurations (e.g. IP truncation/anonymisation, reduced retention periods).
To protect our forms (contact form and newsletter sign-up) against spam and automated access, we use Google reCAPTCHA v3. The provider for users in Switzerland and the EEA is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The parent company is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
In the background, reCAPTCHA checks based on your behaviour on the website (e.g. interactions, time spent, mouse movements) whether an input comes from a person or from an automated program. For this purpose, your IP address, browser and device information, the page accessed and, where applicable, cookies set by Google are transmitted to Google. Data may be transferred to the USA in this process.
Purpose: Protection of our website and forms against misuse and spam.
Legal basis: Our legitimate interest in a secure and functional website.

Depending on the design of the website, content and services from third parties may be embedded (e.g. fonts, maps, videos). When such content is embedded, your IP address may be transmitted to the third-party provider for technical reasons, as the content could not otherwise be delivered.
We make sure to use third-party content only where it is necessary or offers a clear benefit and, as far as possible, to choose privacy-friendly settings.
Our website may contain links to social media platforms. When you click a link, you are redirected to the respective platform. From that point on, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.
We may pass on personal data to external service providers where this is necessary for operating the website, communication, sending newsletters, organising appointments or providing our services. These include in particular:

We take appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. These include in particular access restrictions, system-level security mechanisms and organisational processes.

Under Swiss data protection law, you have in particular the following rights, depending on the situation:
